All That I Could Give is a CD featuring songs and instrumentals written between 1990 and 2004. All the music and words are original with the exception of the melody of Kali Durge, which is a traditional Sanskrit chant.

Firefly's Journey
Firefly’s Journey is a collection of early concert art music composed between 1978 and 1984. The performances are quite good overall and have been enhanced in Hansen’s digital studio for the best possible sound quality.

19840 is a chamber orchestral work in three movements reflecting the profound influence of composers such as Stravinsky and Bartok.
2. Phantasms For Piano
Written in 1984 and performed by David Hansen at Western Michigan University in April of 1984. The work is in three movements entitled: I - Melencholy, II - Dissorientation, III - Anger These movements once described as "Jazz Scriabin" by Donald Para, are mood pieces expressing the composers musical imaginations of these human experiences.
3. Exploitations for Tenor Saxaphone and Piano
Performed by Tom Lockwood on tenor saxophone and David Hansen on piano and was composed in 1982. This piece is a musical study which exploits a different element of the music in each successive movement: I - melody, II - Rhythm, III - Harmony, IV - Timbre, V - Form.
